My husband and I got our wedding alterations done here! We absolutely loved it. My dress and his suit came out exactly how we wanted it to! Rosalba did the impossible to fix the cups on my dress as it was a difficult dress but it ended up turning out exactly how i wanted it! This place was recommended to me by another bride that had her gown cleaned by them. I had a great time at my wedding but at the end of the night my gown was black (see photo). Islip cleaners cleaned it beautifully and got out all the stains and dirt, the dress was like new. They even had it ready sooner than expected. Gentlemen at the front was also very nice.

We called them today to find out if my wife could get a dress hemmed for this weekend. They said yes if she went there today with it. When she arrived she was very happy with the service she received. They told her that they are very busy with proms but they could take care of her. This will be our go to cleaners and tailor from now on.

Tom and staff were so kind. They preserved my wife’s wedding gown, and explained how to best keep the dress in its best condition. Tom was patient and thorough and let my wife see her dress before packing it. They seemed to know every customer by name as they walked in. We are new to the neighborhood, and have found our new cleaners!

We took our daughter’s wedding dress to Islip Cleaners on a recommendation from a colleague. Tom took the dress in, examined it for damage and then wrote up the order with a delivery date. The delivery date was honored and the dress was cleaned and preserved beautifully. When I picked up the dress, Tom took the time to show me how it was packed and displayed in a box with a lid that opened to show a window to the dress. Further, the box was closed up and placed in a cloth bag along with a pair of white gloves to be used if the dress was handled.

If you are looking to preserve your wedding gown, Islip Cleaners & Tailors is the right place to go. Very pleasant, very professional and quality work. I live 20 miles away and I am thankful for the recommendation to go there. If I lived closer, this would be my preferred cleaner.

Very friendly staff! I brought my daughter’s heavily beaded wedding gown to be cleaned and preserved and they inspected every inch of the dress right in front of me. They took the time to check for tears and loose beading and assured me that everything would be checked again during the cleaning process and repaired if needed. I would recommend this establishment to anyone who wants to maintain their dress as an heirloom.

This place has never let me down in 10 years! I’ve always came to them needing something in a hurry, and they always had a faster turn around than I asked for, and it wasn’t just something simple I’ve brought many of my military uniforms that needed to be altered perfectly and they cleaned my sisters wedding dress and it looked better than when she bought it. Great place. I initially looked up on Google for a good dry cleaner near me that does tailoring. I saw Islip Cleaners & Tailors so I gave them a try. I became a loyal client. Very professional, tailoring is superb, the cleaning is impeccable and they treat you like royalty. More people should use this place, you definitely will be satisfied.
